Ever since we’ve had Bitey, she’s had a baffling thing for Rook. Rook occasionally gets fed up with her, but for the most part, he sucks it up and let’s her snuggle up to him. Over the last 4 years, my husband and I have made it a habit to capture photos of the two of them being inappropriate. For the fun of it, I’m dedicating this post to some of those photos.

Enrichment Toys
Gizmodo had an article about the benefits of toys that force an indoor cat to earn their food. They’re part of what are frequently called “enrichment toys,” toys that involve more critical thinking than “I want to murder this toy shaped like a mouse.”
It made me think that I should probably talk about my personal favorite cat enrichment toy.
