The last litter of foster kittens I had were Daja, Sandry, Tris, and Briar. I feel bad that I didn’t follow up on them due to the pregnancy, so I thought I’d do a quick update.
If you’re a first time mom like me, you’ll be bombarded with comments like “you’re in for some surprises,” or “being a mom is a whole new experience,” or my favorite (read: least favorite): “taking care of a baby is completely different from taking care of cats.” Maybe if you’ve never raised neonatal kittens…
Briar, Tris, Sandry, and Daja are now 7 weeks old (photos above taken 2 weeks ago).

On her first night at her new home, she jumped onto the sofa with her new papa. Color me jealous! It took months for her to approach us at that level.
Poor Manny has runny eyes and congestion.
Frosty Dragon had his post-surgery follow up on the second day of the New Year.
